The Learning Design Showcase Presentations were created to highlight a diverse sample of learning designers' work. Each presentation included specific topics and examples, supported by theory and conceptual frameworks that informed the design work in courses across departments and disciplines.
The fall 2014 series consisted of seven online sessions held through Adobe Connect with a total of 216 participants.
Anecdotal evidence gathered from participants’ comments and feedback was positive and suggested a need to pursue this series. As a result, eight online sessions were created and presented in early 2015, with subject matter building on the questions and suggestions arising from the previous interactive sessions. A total of 130 participants joined the sessions via Adobe Connect.
